Mission Montessori Schools educate children from infants to 8th grade. Our four campuses are nestled into one of the most beautiful parts of the Sonoran Desert in northeast Scottsdale, Arizona.
We have two primary campuses, Mission Montessori on the Desert, located at 12990 E Shea Boulevard, and Mission Montessori del Cielo, located at 9390 E Cactus Road. These house our youngest students: infants (6 weeks-16 months) (Shea campus only), toddlers (ages 16 months to 3 years) and primary (3 years through Kindergarten).
The Mission Montessori del Jardin campus is a charter elementary school and includes first through third grades. It is located at 11050 North 96th Street.
Mission Montessori del Norte is our charter upper elementary (grades 4-6) and Mission Montessori del Sol is the charter middle school (grades 7-8). Both are located at 9575 E Larkspur.
All four have beautiful garden areas and natural desert landscape surroundings, making them ideal spaces for teaching in the outdoor classroom.
Mission Montessori Schools reflect a deep commitment to Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy. We support this method with outstanding and experienced AMI and AMS certified teachers. Each classroom is complete with beautiful hands-on Nienhuis materials, computers, laboratory equipment and cultural collections.
It is our mission to support and nurture all children’s innate love of learning. We encourage independence, good communication, appropriate manners and peaceful resolutions of conflict.
Our children develop strong self-images with the confidence to face life’s challenges, and the motivation to become lifelong learners and leaders.
