Calling all volunteers to our outdoor environment! Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to beautify our outdoor space. We really need to make the space functional and inviting for the children.

• Trees, plants, flowers, children size tools, nature work, etc…
• Classical CDs (no Mozart) Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, etc…
• Children’s Books on CD (we have Heidi and Black Beauty)
• Keyboard
• Computer Ink Cartridges (HP 94 and 95)
• 30 good quality paint brushes (not the kind for watercolors)

What’s Happening in Miss Hillary’s Class: 

The cool weather is finally here! We are excited to start our Outdoor Environment with Miss Paige after Fall Break. There are many activities to look forward to now that we can work outside in the beautiful weather.�

We have packed our suitcases and landed in Morocco.  We learned about the Moroccan “good luck” symbol, the khamsa.  If you happen to visit our classroom you will see our beautiful biome map of Africa representing the grasslands, tropical forest and desert.�

Now we are in Egypt where we will stay awhile to learn about the ancient Egyptians. We have even begun to write hieroglyphic messages to each other to decipher.�

Our 3rd graders helped to show the entire class how the universe began and since then we have done a lot of exploration of the solar system.�
