Sibling Discount: Parents with two or more children enrolled five full days in Mission Montessori on the Desert private school receive $100 per family monthly tuition discount.
Application and Enrollment Fees: There is a non-refundable $35 waiting list fee for each new student. An annual enrollment fee of $250.00 per family is due upon registration.
Enrollment fees are returned in full only when we are unable to place your child within a nine (9) monthtime period.Enrollment fees are not refundable when placement is available and declined.
Deposit: A deposit of $500 per child is required to be paid along with each child’s first month’s tuition payment, unless Tuition Option B is chosen. This deposit is not applied towards last month’s tuition and may be refundable when (1) account is current and (2) formal withdrawal procedures have occurred within the designated time period.All refunds are returned after July.31st.
Tuition Payment Option A - Monthly Installments – First month’s tuition and deposit are due by July 15th unless you are enrolling mid-year, when it becomes due on or before your child’s first day of school.
- Monthly tuition is not dependent upon the number of weeks or days within the month, and is not waived for absences, vacation or illness.Payments are applied from the 15th day of the first month of school to the 15th day of each following month for ten (10) consecutive months beginning July 15 the of the current school year and ending with the May 1st of the current school year with thefinal tuition payment.
- ALL PERSONAL CHECKS must be received in the office on or before the 5th day of each month to avoid a $30.00 late fee assessment. You are required to pay all late fees. A $30.00 fee will also be assessed on all returned checks. Late fees and fees for returned checks will automatically be deducted from your deposit each month
- Each $500 student deposit will be held until your child officially withdraws from Mission Montessori on the Desert.If your child will not be completing the current school year, a letter of withdrawal must be received in the office before April 1st of the current school year. If your child will not be returning for the following school year, an official withdrawal consists of a letter of withdrawal stating that your child will not be returning for the following school year,along with a completed school form and/or state withdrawal form(s) as required by the AZ. Dept. of Health and/or the AZ Department of Education. In all cases of withdrawal a written letter received within the appropriate time period (30 days) must be received for monies to be refunded in August 1st
Written notice of withdrawal must be received in the office at least 30 days prior to withdrawal of the student. (it is not sufficient to notify the teacher), The deposit minus 25% administrative fees will be refunded. If written notice is not received in advance of the withdrawal date during the current school year, all deposit money is considered non-refundable and parents have an obligation to pay a full month’s tuition from the date that the written notice is received by the office.All refunds are sent out after August 1st.
Tuition Payment Option B: -Annual - A 5% discount is available for one annual payment and may be paid bi-annually with the first tuition payment due by July 15th of current school year and the second payment is due November 1 of current school yearMission Montessori accepts checks and most major credit cards.**2.0% finance service charge is automatically applied to all credit card charges.**Tuition refunds may result when parents have paid all or half of the annual tuition and the student is withdrawn before the first day of school or within the first 45 days of school only when written notice has been received by the school office within 30 days of the withdrawal date. The refund check minus the application fee, enrollment fee and a 25% processing fee will be mailed 30 days after the written notice has been processed. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER 45 DAYS if choosing Tuition Payment Option B
LATE PICK-UP POLICY AND PROCEDURES
Mission Montessori on the Desert offers extended care for your convenience.The cost of the Extended Day Program is $230 per month for private school students and $310 for charter students K-6th grade. Extended Day Program hours are: 7:30 am to 8:30 am and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The Extended Day Program fee does NOT cover the cost of additional hours on early release and teacher in-service (12:30 am dismissal) days.
If you are not enrolled in the extended day program and arrive late to pick up your child, you will automatically be charged a fee of $10.00 an hour and $5 (five dollars) for each minute after 6:00 pm.
As a courtesy to our staff and to your children, notify the school if you will be running late.
