Primary 'Summer Camp' 2010
WELCOME TO AN ALL AMERICAN SUMMER!!
Three two Week Sessions
The days are longer, the weather is warmer, and summer is finally here! It’s time to put on your swimsuits, grab the sunscreen, and head for the beach.  For the next six weeks we will reinforce learning through play, and incorporate our activities into a summer camp atmosphere for the children. They can enjoy all the fun and excitement of a “big kid’s camp” with lots of great art projects, special visitors, and water play.  We’ll get them revved up by talking about all the great things planned for them because even though school is out, summer is the perfect time for fun educational activities.

Session I – Two weeks (June 14 – June 25th)
From Sea to Shining Sea”
The first two weeks our camp will have oceans of fun “From Sea to Shining Sea”.  In Week One, they’ll play with water, paint with it, and even eat special treats made with it.  Then get ready to dive in for a whale of a time in Week Two as we explore “Ocean Life”.
Session II- Two weeks June 28th – July 9th)
“All American Spirit”
Get ready to catch the “All American Spirit” as our campers discover people, places and things that define America the beautiful these middle two weeks!  They’ll show their patriotism for this great country in Week One as they tour familiar landmarks of the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”.  Week two finds the group westward bound as they take a trip to the “Wild, Wild West.”  They’ll discover lots of exciting things as they travel the land in search of all the wonderful things that make our country a great place to live!
Session III-Three weeks (July 12th – July 23rd)
“All American Fun”
In the last two week session the summer is winding down and the children should be ready for some rest and relaxation. So Far they have traveled by land, and by sea exploring the people, places and landmarks that make up our great country.  Now they’ll be able to sit back and enjoy some all-American fun, exploring a few of our country’s favorite pastimes. We’re preparing to test their athletic abilities while tickling their funny bones during Week One’s “Wacky Olympics.”  All right, sports fans! It’s five days of “Sportsmania” during week two.  From the opening ceremony to the closing ceremony our kids will get a kick out of the things planned for them like Greco-Roman “thumb wrestling, spaghetti “javelin” throws and baseball fishing await these young athletes as they go for the gold!  It’s a great time to talk to them about team spirit and sportsmanship.
